Giving Your Child to the Lord
"...she made a vow and said, “O Lord of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember me, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a male child, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life...” I Samuel 1: 11
It's exciting when a new child enters a family. There's no greater moment when parents sense that children are a gift from God. It is in these joyful moments that our pastors have the privilege of sharing how parents can express their full appreciation to God through baby dedication. Dedicating a child acknowledges God's sovereignty, not only over the child, but also over Mom and Dad. Parents present their child before God and His people asking for grace and wisdom in carrying out their responsibilities. Parents also come praying that their child might one day trust Jesus Christ as his/her personal Lord and Savior. Do you have a baby you would like to dedicate to the Lord?
Baby Dedication are held quarterly on Sundays at 10:00AM for ages 0-1 years old. Only parents (or legal guardians) of new born infants may request baby dedication.
